The Reflective Quality series disrupts the viewer’s sense of self, offering fragmented and reversed reflections that challenge notions of identity, perception, and truth. Drawing on mythological and literary references - from Narcissus and Echo to Snow White and Jean Cocteau’s Orpheus - the series interrogates the ways in which we construct and deconstruct our self-image. The mirrored surfaces become portals to introspection, revealing the blurred boundaries between truth and illusion. Written messages, appearing in reverse, prompt immediate personal reflection, while the frosted glass disables a true reflection, forcing viewers to confront the biases they often take for granted.
